Kurukshetra Holds Immense Possibilities to Revive Ancient Indian Culture, Says Union Minister Gajendra Shekhawat

Union Minister of Tourism and Culture Gajendra Shekhawat said that there are immense possibilities on the holy land of Kurukshetra to revive the ancient culture, rituals and philosophy of India. Mr. Shekhawat was speaking at the first All India Devasthanam Conference organized as a part of International Gita Mahotsav at Kurukshetra University today. He said that this subject can be explained to the whole world from the holy land of Kurukshetra from the perspective of faith as well as historical and scientific point of view.

       

The Union Minister said that to connect the future generation of the country with faith, all the saints and scholars of the country will have to sit on one platform and brainstorm again and again. During this, all the saints also took a pledge that Gita verses will be dedicated on Gita Jayanti Day to protect Hindus and temples in Bangladesh. The Union Minister said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, temples in the country like Kashi, Kedarnath, Ujjain, Jagannath have been made glorious and beautiful. This has helped in preserving the cultural heritage of the country.
