Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and former State Minister, K Tarakarama Rao today appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Hyderabad for questioning. Mr Rao is facing a money laundering probe relating to alleged irregularities in payments amounting to about 55 crore rupees during the previous BRS regime. Mr Rao, who served as the municipal administration Minister in the previous government, earlier said in a social media post that the decision to host the Formula-E race in Hyderabad was one of his most significant achievements as a Minister. He also said, that no amount of frivolous cases, mudslinging, or political motivations can erase that sense of accomplishment.
