In Kerala, the  Sampoornata Abhiyaan campaign launched on Friday (5th July 2024) to accelerate development in Aspirational districts and blocks, started in Kollengode Block in Palakkad district and Devikulam Block in Idukki. Various camps like health camps, soil testing etc and illustrations and stalls by government departments are organised as part of the campaign. However, the Sampoornata Abhiyan campaign event will take place on Saturday (6th July 2024) in Agali block, a tribal area of Palakkad district, and in Azhutha block in Idukki district.

The three-month campaign launched by NITI Aayog focuses on themes including health, nutrition, agriculture, social development etc will continue until September this year. Sampoornata Abhiyan is being implemented with the aim of the overall upliftment of areas included in the Aspirational District Program and Aspirational Block Program, by the Central Government.
