In Kerala, former News Editor of Akashvani, P Chandrasekharan, passed away at a hospital in Kozhikode this morning. He was 94. Chandrasekharan, who served in New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram stations of Akashvani, was the founder of V K Narayana Bhattathiri Trust. He was also associated with the activities of several cultural and voluntary organisations including Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. The funeral will take place this evening at Kallayi.
