In Kerala, Customs officials seized over 4,435 grams of gold in paste form from four air passengers who arrived at the Cochin International Airport from Bangkok. The passengers included three women. The gold, worth about two crore 20 lakh rupees was found concealed inside women’s clothes and the waist belt of a male passenger who accompanied them. A court remanded them to 15 day’s judicial custody.
