Kathua Police release sketches of four terrorists, Offer ₹5 lakh reward

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Kathua Police today released sketches of four terrorists who have been reportedly seen in several parts of the district. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the police are offering a cash reward of rupees five lakh on each terrorist for actionable information. The terrorists whose sketches have been made public were last seen in dhoks of Malhar, Bani and Seojdhar in the higher reaches of the Kathua district.

 

A police spokesperson said, anyone with credible information about the terrorists will also be suitably rewarded and the identity of informars will be kept strictly confidential. Notably four army soldiers were killed and six others injured in a terrorist attack in Badnota area of Kathua on 8th July this year.

 

Besides, parts of Jammu region have also witnessed a surge in terror attacks in the last three months, which left several security personnel dead and injured. Since the rise in terror incidents in Jammu parts have been reported, J&K Police, Army, CRPF and other agencies have been put on alert and search operations have been intensified.
