Karnataka Deputy CM D K Shivakumar campaign in Mandya after Congress Candidate Venkataramanegowda files nomination

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar campaigned in Mandya today after Congress Candidate Venkataramanegowda filed his nomination from here. Janata Dal (Secular), JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy is the rival candidate from here. Making a pitch for the Congress in his campaign, D K Shivakumar said that the voters and JD(S) party workers have lost faith in Kumaraswamy. He blamed Kumaraswamy for moving to Mandya by deserting the people of Ramanagara, from where he is the sitting MLA. He charged that JD(S) has lost its identity by aligning with BJP in the state. Shivakumar called on voters to support Congress candidates who hail from the constituency and reject the candidate imported from other constituencies.
