The Karnataka BJP will launch a month-long Jana Akrosha rally in Mysuru this evening against price rise and religion-based reservation in the state. Addressing media persons in Bengaluru today, the BJP State President B Y Vijayendra informed that the rally will be launched in Mysuru by Union Minister Prahlad Joshi after performing pooja to goddess Chamundeshvari in the afternoon. The rally will traverse the state in four stages. In the first stage, the Janakrosha rally will be held in Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Madakeri and Mangaluru. He charged that the Congress-led Government in Karnataka is increasing the prices of essential goods, announced four percent reservation for Muslims in civic works, diverted funds meant for SC and STs for other purposes and taken other anti-people decisions. B Y Vijayendra said that the party would take up these issues with people.
