In the India Open Super 750 badminton tournament, the Indian pair of  Dhruv Kapila and Tanisha Crasto advanced to the round of 16. They defeated the Taiwan pair of Hsu Ya Ching and Chen Cheng Kuan 8-21, 21-19,  21-17 in the Mixed Doubles round of 32.

In another match, the Indian women’s duo of Amrutha Pramuthesh and Sonali Singh lost to Thailand’s pair of Ornnicha Jongsathapornparn and Sukitta Suwachai in the Women’s doubles round of 32.

PV Sindhu, returning after a long break post-Paris Olympics 2024, will face Taiwan’s Sung Shuo-yun in the women’s singles Round of 32 today.
