In Jammu and Kashmir, on the first day of nomination for Jammu Lok Sabha constituency, two candidates filed their nomination papers on Thursday. Our Correspondent reports that the constituency is scheduled for 2nd phase of General Elections to be held in J&K on April 26. The candidates, including Jagdish Raj and Charanjeet Chargotra (Covering Candidate) both from BSP, filed their nomination papers in the office of the Returning Officer. The last day for filing of nomination papers is April 04, 2024 upto 3:00 pm while the papers will be scrutinised on April 6. The last date for withdrawal of candidature is April 8.
