In Jammu and Kashmir, the Speaker Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, today announced the formation of a House Committee to probe the alleged irregularities in the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in J&K. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the Speaker said that there had been a constant demand from several legislators regarding the constitution of a House Committee since the start of the budget session. “House is supreme, and there is no harm in the formation of a House Committee to probe the alleged irregularities in JJM,” maintained the Speaker.
