In Jammu and Kashmir, the security forces have intensified search operations in the Kota Top area of Gandoh in the Doda district, following an exchange of fire with terrorists, in which a Special Operations Group (SOG) constable was injured last night. Efforts to locate the terrorists have been ramped up, with forces combing the jungles and implementing heightened security measures.

Following the last night’s encounter, the Police released sketches of four terrorists believed to be hiding in the upper reaches of Bhaderwah, Thathri, and Gandoh in the district. A reward of five lakh rupees is being offered for any information leading to their capture.
