In Jammu & Kashmir, the search operation is underway in the Tangmarg area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district following last evening’s exchange of fire between the terrorists and security forces in the area. The cordon and search operation had been launched yesterday evening based on inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area. The anti terrorist operation by a joint team of the Army, CRPF and J&K police was resumed with the first light of this morning. The operation had been suspended late last night due to the darkness. Till now, no contact has been established with the terrorists while a search operation is going on in the forest area. All entry and exit points have been sealed.
