In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Police along with security forces have arrested three terrorist associates in Sopore of Baramulla district today. According to officials, Police along with Army’s 22 Rashtriya Rifles & CRPF 179 Batallion, at a joint checkpoint established at Fruit Mandi crossing, noticed three suspicious persons attempting to flee from the spot. However, the alert joint party apprehended them tactfully.

 
During searches, a pistol, mobile phones and other incriminating materials were recovered from their possession. Meanwhile, a case vide under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore and an investigation has been initiated.
