The festival of Vijayadashmi or Dussehra is being celebrated across the Jammu region today with religious fervour and enthusiasm. The festival marks the triumph of good over evil. The day also marks the culmination of Navratri and Durga Puja.        

Meanwhile, over 4 Lakh pilgrims paid obeisance at the revered Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi during the auspicious Shardiya Navratri this year.
