In Jammu and Kashmir, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today terminated two government employees for their involvement in anti-national activities, exercising powers under Article 311 of the Constitution. One employee was from the Police Department (Assistant Wireless Operator) and the other from the Public Works (R&B) Department (Senior Assistant). Their activities had come to the attention of law enforcement and intelligence agencies, who found them deeply engaged in actions harmful to the State’s interests. Evidence pointed to their involvement in terror-related activities, prompting the decision to dismiss them from service for compromising national security.
