The Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has extended his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan festival. In a message, he said that this festival is a celebration of the unique bond between brothers and sisters. He said, Rakhi also symbolises love, compassion, affection, and mutual trust between both. He wished that the spirit of this festival strengthens the familial bond, unity, harmony and brotherhood in the society and usher in peace, prosperity, and happiness for all.
