In Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu Cyber Cell Police has cautioned the public about the messages intimating about the IT refund.

Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that in an advisory, the police have advised the public to desist from calling a number or clicking a link regarding an income tax refund adding not to follow any such instructions. It has been added that these messages are scams intended to defraud and people should ignore such messages. People are advised to report any cyber crime on the toll-free number 1930 and visit the website www.cybercrime.gov.in.
