J&K Government Dismisses Six Employees for Anti-National Activities

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Government dismissed six employees belonging to various departments of the UT administration. As per official sources, five employees are Constables from Police Department and one employee is a teacher from Education Department. These employees have been dismissed from Government Services in terms of Article 311 of the Constitution of India for their deep involvement in anti-national activities.

 

The officials further said that the activities of these six employees had come to the adverse notice of law enforcement and intelligence agencies, as they found them thickly involved in activities prejudicial to the interests of the State evidencing their involvement in terror-related activities.

 

They said that the UT Government has adopted a Zero tolerance policy towards the anti-national elements who have been taking advantage of being in the Government Service.
