In Jammu and Kashmir, to conduct a free and fair Assembly Election 2024, the Election Department organized a one-day online training program on Election Expenditure Monitoring for nearly 800 officers today at Jammu.

On the ocassion, Chief Electoral Officer J&K, P.K. Pole exhorted the trainee officers to work with zeal and dedication to ensure the purity and transparency of the Assembly Election process. The CEO also asked the officers to work in an exemplary manner so that all stakeholders and the general public can be assured of a free and fair conduct of Assembly elections in the state.

During the training program, officers from the Expenditure Division of the Election Commission of India conducted an online session on the Election Seizure Management System. Moreover, a special session on the use of various IT apps used during the election period was also conducted by an IT expert during the training program.
