In Jammu and Kashmir, with the aim to extend quality medical care services to the people at their doorsteps, the District Health Society Doda has launched a pioneering initiative-"Doctor Aapke Gaon Mein." 
 
Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that a mega medical camp was held at Village Phagsoo in Medical Block Thathri under the supervision of Chief Medical Officer Doda, during which people were examined and screened by a team of specialist doctors of Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, Medicine, Gynecology, General Surgery. In addition to this, a range of other services was provided to the people under RBSK, MMU, and RKSK. More than 300 patients swarmed the camp to avail the consultation medical by specialists. They were examined and provided free medicines. Besides, ANC check and ultrasound services were also provided to the pregnant women in the camp. The locals of the area thanked the Health department for organising such a mega camp for the betterment of common people.
