In Jammu and Kashmir, at least two soldiers were injured after terrorists lobbed hand grenade and opened fire on an Army vehicle in the remote Machedi area of Kathua district today. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that the encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces at Machedi area of Kathua after terrorists’ attack.  Additional forces have rushed to the location to control the situation. The far-flung area Badnota, Lohai Malhar, Machedi area of Billawar is around 170 km from the district headquarters Kathua. The exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces are going on till the reports last came in. The army cordoned off the area and massive search operation has been launched.
