Another batch of 5803 pilgrims left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas base camp in Jammu for the Kashmir valley to perform pilgrimage to Amarnath Cave Shrine. The pilgrims left the base camp in a cavalcade of 218 vehicles early this morning. The batch included 4521 Men, 1139 Women, 9 Children, 124 Sadhus & 10 Sadhvies (female sadhus). Of these 1862 pilgrims left for Baltal at 3:10 AM and 3941 for Pahalgam base camp at 4 AM from where they will proceed for their further journey to the holy cave.
