J&K: 200 meters long bridge being constructed by Department of R&B with estimated cost of Rs 20 crore in Doda

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, yet another cradle box over river Chenab is being replaced with a motorable bridge being constructed at Marsoo near Batote -Kishtwar National highway in Doda district. The two hundred meters long bridge is being constructed by the Department of R&B with an estimated cost of 20 crore rupees. This will be the sixth motorable bridge over river Chenab in Doda district. Upon completion of this bridge, the entire population of Kastigrah and Rajgrah will be benefited and at least 20,000 people will get connected directly with Batote Kishtwar National highway. 
 
Authorities said that with the completion of this bridge, traffic jamming in Doda town will also minimize as presently all people of Kastigrah have to go via Doda to reach Batote Kishtwar National highway.
