In Jammu & Kashmir, two armed infiltrators have been killed in an ongoing counter-infiltration operation by the Army in the general area of Sarjeevan at Uri Nala along the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

An Army spokesperson said that approximately two to three terrorists tried to infiltrate through this area during pre-dawn hours. However, the alert troops on LoC challenged and intercepted them, resulting in a firefight.

He said a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other war-like stores have been recovered from the terrorists.
