Jharkhand: Met Dept predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall across state for next 2 days

In Jharkhand, the Met Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall across the state for the next two days. According to the latest weather bulletin, the deep depression that formed over Bay of Bengal has moved at a speed of 20 kmph northwestwards towards Jharkhand. Several parts of the State have been receiving fairly widespread rainfall since last evening.
 
A yellow alert has been issued in the districts of West Singhbhum, Saraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Ranchi, Khunti and Lohardaga. Senior Scientist at Ranchi Meteorological Centre, Abhishek Anand said the depression will bring good amount of rainfall in the state facing drought-like situation. Several districts will receive heavy to very heavy rains, with isolated thunderstorm for the next two days.
