Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren expanded his cabinet today following the trust vote victory in assembly. Former Chief Minister, Champai Soren included in the cabinet. Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan administered the oath at Raj Bhavan. Of the 11 MLAs sworn in as Cabinet Ministers, six are from the JMM, four from Congress and one from RJD. Champai Soren, Baidnath Ram, Deepak Birua, Mithilesh Kumar Thakur, Hafizul Hasan and Bebi Devi and of JMM took the oath. From Congress Rameshwar Orao, Banna Gupta, Irfan Ansari, and Depika Pandey Singh took oath. Satyanand Bhokta from RJD also took the oath.
Three changes were made in the Hemant cabinet in which two are from Congress and one from JMM. Basant Soren of JMM and Badal Patralekh from Congress were dropped from the cabinet.
