In Jharkhand, leaders of various parties are making last-ditch efforts to woo voters in favour of their party candidates. The campaign will end at 5 p.m. today. Addressing election meetings in Godda and Sahibganj State, BJP Chief Babulal Marandi exhorted people to vote in favor of BJP candidates to further speed up all-round development work and welfare measures. While holding a meeting in Rajmahal, Dumka JMM leader Kalpana Soren alleged the BJP is misguiding people in the name of development. Leaders of the RJD and left parties also held rallies and road shows today. Polling will be held in three constituencies—Godda, Dumka and Rajmahal—of the Santhal region of Jharkhand during the final phase of the elections on June 1.
