Jharkhand Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto today terminated the membership of two MLAs. JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom and BJP MLA JP Patel have been found guilty for defection. Their matter were heard in the tribunal of Speaker for two days. JMM MLA Lobin Hembrom contested the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections from the Rajmahal seat as an independent candidate against the JMM candidate. On the other hand, BJP MLA JP Patel contested Lok Sabha elections from Hazaribagh seat as a Congress candidate. JMM Supremo Shibu Soren and opposition leader Amar Kumar Bauri have recommended the termination of these members to the Assembly Speaker.
