Jet Airways founder Naresh Goyal has been sent to 14-days judicial custody in connection with the alleged money laundering case worth 538 crore rupees fraud case at the Canara Bank. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) did not demand the remand of Naresh Goyal. After being placed in judicial custody, Naresh Goyal requested the Special PMLA court not to send him to Taloja jail. Special Additional PMLA Judge M.G. Deshpande granted his request, and Naresh Goyal will be shifted to the under-trial Arthur Road jail.
Earlier, Naresh Goyal's ED custody was extended till today by the PMLA court on Monday. He was arrested by the ED on the first of this month.
