The Jal Jeevan Mission pavilion has been set up at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj to showcase the impact of this mission on rural life. Our correspondent reports that the exhibition is also depicting the change that has happened in the rural area under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the country. The Jal Jeevan Mission exhibition showcases Bundelkhand’s transformation of bringing Tap Water to every household.

 

 

The central government had launched the Jal Jeevan Mission in 2019 to provide tap water supply to every rural household. Talking to Akashvani News, the visitors praised the Jal Jeevan Mission saying through this mission, tap water connections have been provided in their villages. The exhibition on Jal Jeevan Mission is highlighting several initiatives such as PM Awas, gram panchayat development, and village solar energy adoption.

 

 

A Swachh Sujal Gaon, Digital Corner has been set up, where the villagers from Uttar Pradesh can access real-time information about water, tap connections, and water supply status in their respective villages.
