Senior BJP leader and Union Minister, Anurag Singh Thakur said that it is necessary to form a BJP government at the Center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the all-round development of the country. While addressing a program in Jalandhar on Sunday, he said that before 2014, the Congress government in the country was a government of scams. Mr. Thakur said that what the Congress Party could not do in its 60 years tenure, the BJP has done it in 10 years only and the country’s economy has reached the fifth position in the world, is a testimony to this. Talking about the farmers, he said that Congress Party has always misled farmers in the name of Minimum Support Price, MSP whereas Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given relief to lakhs of farmers across the country by taking several farmer-friendly decisions.
