Indian Meteorological Department said isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Northeast India during the next 24 hours. Today, the Southwest Monsoon has withdrawn from remaining parts of Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Konkan. The meteorological department said conditions are favourable for further withdrawal of Southwest Monsoon from remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and some more parts of Maharashtra and Central Arabian Sea during the next two to three days. Met department has said moderate flash flood risk is likely over a few watersheds and neighbourhoods of Assam and Meghalaya and northwestern parts of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura till 11:30 AM tomorrow.
