Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is launching ‘07 Jyotirlinga Yatra’ and ‘Guru Kripa Yatra’ aboard the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train from Amritsar. The 07 Jyotirlinga Yatra is a 13-day spiritually enriching and cost-effective pilgrimage opportunity for devotees. Starting from Amritsar on May 12th, 2025, it will conclude back here on May 24th, 2025, after covering sacred Jyotirlinga temples – Mahakaleshwar, Omkareshwar, Nageshwar, Somnath, Trimbakeshwar, Bhimashankar, and Grishneshwar. These are amongst the holiest and most revered abodes of Lord Shiva across India.
Similarly, the Guru Kripa Yatra, a 7-day pilgrimage tour, will begin on May 27th and conclude back in Amritsar on June 6th, 2025.
This spiritual journey will take pilgrims to two revered Gurudwaras – Takht Shri Patna Sahib, the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, and Gurudwara Sri Sheetal Kund Sahib in Rajgir, located close to Patna. The Yatra also offers a unique opportunity to pay homage at Takht Shri Patna Sahib on the spiritually significant occasion of the Jyoti-Jyot Diwas of Guru Angad Dev Ji on May 30th.
