In the IPL T20 Cricket, Punjab Kings defeated Gujarat Titans by 11 runs at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad last night. Chasing a target of 244 set by Punjab Kings, Gujarat Titans made 232 for 5 in the stipulated twenty overs.

Sai Sudharsan was the top scorer for Gujarat Titans with 74, while Jos Buttler made 54 runs and Sherfane Rutherford scored 46 runs. For Punjab Kings, Arshdeep Singh scalped two wickets while Marco Jansen and Glenn Maxwell took a wicket each.

Earlier, put in to bat, Punjab Kings posted 243 runs for the loss five wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. For Gujarat Titans, Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore scalped three wickets while Kagiso Rabada and Rashid Khan took a wicket each. Shreyas Iyer was the top scorer for Punjab Kings who made unbeaten 97.

He was declared Player of the Match. Priyansh Arya made 47 while Shashank Singh scored unbeaten 44. Earlier, Gujarat Titans had won the toss and opted to bowl. Shubman Gill is leading the Gujarat Titans while Punjab Kings are being led by Shreyas Iyer.
