IPL: Summit clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders underway in Chennai

In the final of IPL Cricket, Sunrisers Hyderabad have set a target of 114 runs for Kolkata Knight Riders. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) scored 113 runs losing all its wickets in 18.3 overs after electing to bat against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai today. Captain Pat Cummins contributed useful 24 runs, while Markram made 20 runs. Mitchel Starc, Russel and Harshit Rana took 2 wickets each.
 

KKR are looking for their third title after winning in 2012 and 2014, while SRH are expecting to win it for the second time after registering their first win in 2016.
 

KKR dominated the league stage, bagging first place with nine wins and three losses. Kolkata were the first team to book a spot in the final after they defeated Hyderabad in the first qualifier. Whereas SRH’s loss against Kolkata resulted in the Orange Army side taking on the Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2.
