In the IPL Cricket, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have picked Ayush Mhatre as a replacement for the injured Ruturaj Gaikwad, while Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) have signed Smaran Ravichandran in place of the injured Adam Zampa for the remainder of the season. Mhatre has played 9 First-Class matches and 7 List A games, scoring close to 962 runs. The right-handed batter, who represents Mumbai in domestic cricket, has joined CSK for 30 Lakh rupees.

On the other hand, Smaran Ravichandran has featured in 7 First-Class games, 10 List A matches, and 6 T20s, accumulating over 1,100 runs across formats. The left-handed batter, who plays for Karnataka in domestic cricket, has also joined SRH for 30 Lakh rupees.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings pacer Lockie Ferguson has been ruled out indefinitely from the tournament due to an injury. During his last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, Ferguson was forced to leave the field after pain in his left thigh.
