The 2024 edition of the Swiss Open Super 300 Badminton tournament began at Basel today.

In Men’s Singles India’s Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikant, Priyanshu Rajawat and K George will play their round of 32 matches tomorrow. In Women’s Singles, fourth seeded P V Sindhu is scheduled to face Germany’s Yvonne Li in the round of 32 tomorrow. Today, Sameer Varma and SK Karunakaran won their qualifying matches. 

In Women’s Doubles, Eight seed combination of Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand, will meet America’s Annie Xu and Kerry Xu in the first round tonight. Indian Pairs of Rutaparna Panda and Swetaparna Panda and Ashwini Bhat and Shikha Gautam will also be playing their opening round matches tonight.
