The Indian team includes Antim Panghal, competing internationally for the first time since winning bronze in the 53 kg category at the Asian Games last year. Panghal is a two-time Under-20 world champion and World Wrestling Championships bronze medallist.
Two-time Olympian Vinesh Phogat, who qualified for Paris in the 50 kg category, will also compete. Joining her are under-23 world champion Reetika Hooda in the 76kg category and former Asian champion Anshu Malik in the 57kg category.
Aman Sehrawat, the only Indian male wrestler to secure a Paris quota, will play in the men’s freestyle event in Budapest.
