Indian rupee settled flat against the US dollar today amid foreign fund outflow.

At the inter-bank foreign exchange, the rupee opened at 84.06 per dollar stayed almost flat in the early deals and inched up one paisa to end at 84.07 against the US Dollar.

The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, is trading at 103.6 in intra-day trade.
