In the Forex market today, the Indian rupee depreciated marginally to close at 83 rupees and 92 paise against the U.S. dollar.

The dollar index, which indicates the US dollar’s strength against a basket of six other leading currencies, is trading down by 0.03 per cent at 100.82 in intra-day trade.
