A 48-year-old Indian-origin man, Sundeep Singh who attacked his 76-year-old mother in Leicester, eastern England, has been found guilty of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Sundeep Singh was arrested after Leicestershire Police discovered the deceased, Bhajan Kaur, with brutal injuries to her head and face on 13th of May, this year, in their family home. Following a trial, Singh was sentensed with a term of 31 years in prison, yesterday.
