Indian men’s team kick-starts London leg of FIH Pro Hockey League with commanding 3-0 victory against Germany

The Indian men’s team kick-started the London leg of the FIH Pro Hockey League with a commanding 3-nil victory against the World  Hockey Champions, Germany on Saturday. Skipper Harmanpreet Singh with a low flick, opened the scoreboard in the 16th minute. Sukhjeet Singh amplified the lead in the 41st minute with a clinical goal, while Gurjant Singh further defeated the German goalkeeper Alexander Stadler, by finding the net just three minutes later.


The Men in Blue will next play Great Britain tomorrow. India stands third in the points table, with 24 points from 13 matches, while Netherlands leads the table with 26 points from 12 games. Argentina stands second with 26 points from 14 matches.
