The benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, are trading at an all-time high today. 

 

Sensex was trading over 500 points, or 0.67 per cent, up at 77,863, while Nifty rose half a per cent to hit a fresh record high of 23,669, or 120 points when the reports last came in.
In the sectoral indices, the Bank Nifty surged more than 1.12% and registered its all-time high today when the reports last came in.

 

In Asian markets, Seoul, Tokyo, and Shanghai traded in positive territory, whereas Hong Kong remained unchanged.
