Marking the birth anniversary of Padma Vibhushan Amrita Pritam, winner of the Sahitya Academy Awards in 1956, the Embassy of India in Kathmandu organized a musical evening titled Kala Samvad today at the Nepal –Bharat Library. Popular Nepali Singer Raj Sagar along with several upcoming artists from SVCC presented songs of Sahir Ludhianvi on the occasion. Audiences from all walks of life including eminent Nepali poets, musicians, writers, filmmakers, and music enthusiasts heard the selected work of Amrita Pritam. Indian poet and actress Anjali Kaul 'Ada' was also present at the event who recited select verses of Amrita Pritam's evergreen poems.
