The festive spirit of Durga Puja is being witnessed in Colombo, with the members of the Indian diaspora celebrating the ten-day festival with enthusiasm and devotion. Devotees thronged the Sri Manika Vinayagar Kovil in Colombo, where a heavily adorned Pujo Pandal has been set up. Devotees offered obeisance and joined the puja and aarti on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami. Apart from the traditional Aarti and puja, cultural performances on the theme of Durga Pujo were also performed by members of the Indian Cultural Association.
