Indian community commemorated the 155th Gandhi Jayanti today in the Embassy of India in Kathmandu. Ambassador of India Naveen Shrivastava and all other Indian officials paid floral tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. On this occasion, Ms Saraswati Khatri of the Sur Sudha Band performed hymns and musical compositions dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Representatives from the Nepal Charkha Pracharak Gandhi-Tulasi Smarak Mahaguthi also participated in the celebrations. The ambassador felicitated sanitation workers of the Embassy on the occasion.
