Indian Army’s Bison Division and Telangana Police Hold Road Safety Conclave in Hyderabad

The Bison division of the Indian Army has held a Road Safety Conclave along with the Telangana state police in Hyderabad to raise awareness about various aspects of road safety and prevent accidents of both military and personal vehicles. General Officer Commanding, Bison Division, Major General Akhilesh Kumar and other senior officials and personnel of the division and their family members witnessed a static display last evening at the conclusion of the conclave. The new generation technological implants that can be retrofitted in all vehicles to assist the driver and reduce driving fatigue to prevent accidents were kept on display.
 
The two-day conclave highlighted the importance of the traffic rules and the fallout of violations besides creating awareness about the Good Samaritan Law and their rights. It may be recalled that over two lakh people die every year due to road accidents. 
 
Speaking on the occasion, GOC Akhilesh Kumar said most of the accidents can be avoided and awareness will help people to follow the traffic rules. He said the initiative has been taken to create greater awareness among personnel and their family members.
