Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan has said that India wants to bring a new perspective in G20 exercise during its Presidency. He stressed that the G20 should not be an exclusive club but it should reflect the view of the world, especially the global south.
 
In an exclusive interview to Akashvani News, Mr. Muraleedharan said, this time G20 Presidency is different in many ways. He said, it is not a diplomatic exercise but it has become the activity of common man and turned into a people's G20.
 
The Minister said, the theme of India’s G20 Presidency Vasudhaiva Kutumbaka- One Earth, One Family, One Future is not  a slogan only. He said, concerns of the developing nations, African countries and global nations are being reflected in G20 discussions more prominently. He expressed confidence that leading economies of the world will also take note of this concern during the leaders’ Summit.
