External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi has said that India wants friendly relations with neighbouring countries including Pakistan. However, he stressed that there should be an environment free of terror and hostility which are imperative for normal relations. He was briefing the media in New Delhi today.

Responding to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's comment on India regarding talks between the two nations, Mr. Bagchi said, India's clear and consistent position is well known that it desires normal relations with all neighbouring countries.
